Gingerbread Stout

So this stuff is hard to get. But can be found at local rva drinking holes. When it comes to the Bourbon Barrel aged goodness, now that is another story. There's that incident of the faulty clamp that dumped half of their batch on the floor (I would have lapped it up like a cat). So they stayed true to the game and charged regular price and 2 bottle minimum. I saw it on the news and knew it would be a mad house and steered clear. Miraculously someone showed up to a Christmas party with a fresh bottle, bam got sum. Then went to mekong for lunch after the gym and bam they still had both on tap so good so fresh. And the food and staff are the best!!!

Amps, wings n ales

So we went to hardywood for Amps Ales n Wings where 20 cyclists at a time peddled in motion capturing watts which created the power to cook the wings. Oh and beer there was beer. Which is why I was there. And for the heckling. And while I was there I
Snagged the last of the Gingerbread Stout half of which is going to friends.
Cyclists have longtime had a love affair with beer so I knew this was a no brainer. Hopefully hardywood and other breweries see the correlation between beer and cycling and conjure up such events. We really enjoyed ourselves and didn't even cycle but certainly got our heckle on.

Had the coveted Gingerbread Stout, hoperation collaboration, and the great return pale ale West Coast style.

Can't wait for the next excuse to goto hardywood
